OPETH To Play Jordan In November

Sweden's OPETH have been invited to perform in Jordan in November. If the gig goes ahead, it will mark the first time a metal band has played in Jordan.

In other news, Dan Swanö's NIGHTINGALE will support OPETH at several dates on their upcoming Scandinavian tour. Norwegian tech-death metal band EXTOL will provide additional support on the trek. An Australian tour in support of "Damnation" will take place in the first three weeks of December. South American gigs have been discussed and will soon be confirmed for November. Another North American tour is being planned for January/February 2004.

OPETH are expected to enter the studio in late 2004 to record the follow-up to "Deliverance" and "Damnation", tentatively due in early 2005.
